When a new, fast-casual pierogi shop hires you to write humor concepts for their merch and social, you actually alarm yourself with how many dumpling/Kielbasa/sauerkraut/pickle jokes you can come up with. The challenge was introducing people to pierogi—a traditional, Polish dumpling that is not usually the first thing one thinks of when they’re making lunch plans with their coworkers. UNTIL NOW. We coined the term “Pierogi-Curious,” to refer to new fans and “Pol-ish” to describe the Chow Bros. approach—reimagining and modernizing love for Central European gastronomy.
